We are looking for a Data Engineer (Consultant) for one of our good clients from Sweden.

Our client is a company dedicated to helping businesses efficiently analyze their data and make informed decisions. Responsibilities:

• Ingest data into the Azure data lake platform by acquiring data from various sources and ensuring its successful storage.

• Transform ingested data through data cleansing, formatting, and structuring to prepare it for further processing and analysis.

• Create dimensions and facts based on requirements, designing and implementing the necessary data models and structures to facilitate efficient data analysis and reporting.

• Schedule data pipelines, determining appropriate timing and frequency for data ingestion, transformation, and related processes to ensure seamless data flow and availability.

• Develop Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, automating deployment and release processes for efficient and reliable software delivery to the production environment.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in data ingestion and transformation processes.

• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory and Databricks, proficient in data processing, integration, and orchestration tasks using these platforms.

• Strong understanding of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipelines in a DevOps environment, including expertise in automating software build, testing, and deployment processes.

• Good understanding of various Azure services related to data processing and integration.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Proficiency in the English language.

Additional Information:

• Work hours: 8 hours per day (Swedish time zone).
• Work mode: Remote (from Riga).
• Project duration: Starting with 6 months.
• Possible business trips: Once a month to Sweden.
• Hourly rate: Starting from 25 Euro/h.
